Today’s low maintenance BPW disc brake axle has evolved into one of the most reliable in the market and the claimed improvement to road safety is regularly proven with exceptional braking efficiency, shorter stopping distances and improved overall vehicle stability.

BPW offers 3 sizes of disc brake

1. SB4345T for heavy duty operation, which features the 430mm diameter rotor.
2. SB3745T with its 370mm diameter rotor.
3. SB4309T a combination of the large rotor with the smaller caliper.

In all three disc brake sizes the brake caliper is no longer attached by means of the axial connection. It is attached tangentially, i.e. the mounting bolts are fitted in line with the caliper.

  • Easy access to screw connection points
  • Uniform caliper mounting bolts for all BPW disc brakes
• Brake anchor plate with optimised weight
• Up to 10kg reduction per 9 tonnes axle compared with axial mounting
