Axle and Suspension Maintenance - 1 day course
This course teaches the basics of axle and suspension maintenance over 1 day with no testing or accreditation at the end. The 4 areas of tuition are Hub Systems, Drum Brake, Disc Brake and Air Suspension.
Course Fee - £95.00 per person
Axle and Suspension Maintenance – 2 day course
This course covers the development of axle and suspension systems and deals with maintenance and servicing issues. The course is far more in-depth than the 1 day course and it carries an examination on the afternoon of the 2nd day. Module replacement techniques and diagnostics are covered in this course. The course award will eventually count towards level 3 of the IMI Trailer Technician Certificate when it is introduced early in 2010.

Axle and Suspension Maintenance – 2 day course with accommodation
This course is identical in content to the 2 day course outlined above but includes a 1 night stay, including evening meal and breakfast in a Travel Inn which is 400 metres from our training centre in Leicester.

Braking Technology - 1 day course
This course is designed to introduce candidates to trailer EBS systems and to give an insight into fault patterns and diagnosis. The course starts with a resume of trailer ABS systems and includes a section of valve setting. The EBS content covers brake system design including an introduction to brake calculations. All three main EBS systems are covered (Haldex, Wabco and Knorr). There is no accreditation at the end of this course and no prior knowledge of braking circuits is assumed.
