Product training at BPW’s headquarters has stepped up a notch. Since its refurbishment in October and the recent announcement of a series of training courses through to Christmas, the new facilities will now be in regular use well into the New Year.

Designed for engineers servicing BPW caravan chassis, spaces for the four courses were snapped up immediately – with twenty people now on a waiting list for next year.

There are however some places available for the one day heavy axle course which teaches the basics of axle and suspension maintenance. The four areas of tuition are Hub Systems, Drum Brake, Disc Brake and Air Suspension. A two day, more indepth course is also offered, as well as a Braking Technology course.

This course is designed to introduce candidates to trailer EBS systems and to give an insight into fault patterns and diagnosis. It covers ABS systems and includes a section on valve setting. The EBS content covers brake system design, as well as an introduction to brake calculations.

The new-look training room, with adjoining workshop, has up-to-date facilities - projector, smartboard and wi-fi access. The room is bright and spacious and is conducive to a productive working atmosphere. Moreover, its central location makes it ideal for BPW customers looking for a venue to hold their seminars/regional conferences. We are more than happy to make the room available for such an event.

BPW’s headquarters are just minutes from Junction 21 of the M1. It occupies a location away from the bustle and noise of the city and there is excellent on-site parking. The room can accommodate 30 people theatre style and 24 boardroom style. Refreshments are available throughout the day and we can arrange a buffet luncheon for customers if required.
