BPW LIMITED IS GEARING UP FOR EXHIBITING AT THE ROAD TRANSPORT EXPO 2024

DRIVING INNOVATION

BPW Limited is gearing up for its appearance at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX) which is taking place at Stoneleigh Park from June 4 – 6. Highlights at this year’s show include:

BPW ECO HUB SYSTEM:

On stand B19 in the blue zone, BPW is showcasing its ECO Hub system. Developed 30 years ago, the ECO Hub has remained a symbol of excellence, with its innovative details offering a boost in terms of service and economy. Engineered with low-maintenance features in mind, the ECO Hub allows simple and rapid removal of the entire wheel, which is based on the ‘Formula 1 style principle.’ To show how easy and simple the hub is to remove, BPW technical engineers will be delivering live demonstrations throughout the show.

BPW CARGOMASTER:

BPW’s patented CargoMaster is a strap lift system designed to secure loads safely and directly to the vehicle chassis. This user-friendly system meets both pallet network and automotive delivery demands and reduces loading and unloading times, enabling faster deliveries. CargoMaster’s versatility means it is suitable for both uniform and unusually shaped loads and can be fitted to both single and double-deck trailers. Not only does the system help to prevent a damaged load, but it can also reduce the risk of health and safety infringements or an incident relating to poorly secured loads. More importantly, the driver no longer needs to climb onto the trailer or throw straps over the load to secure it. CargoMaster, which can be retrofitted, complies with DVSA load-securing guidelines.

BPW AIRSAVE:

The BPW tyre inflation system, AirSave, continuously monitors and regulates tyre pressure while on the move, significantly enhancing road safety. AirSave tracks and adjusts tyre pressure to the desired level during travel, reducing unnecessary expenses arising from worn-out tyres or roadside prohibitions due to under-inflated tyres. AirSave will activate at a pressure deviation as low as 0.2 bar. Should the pressure deviate significantly, for example, in the case of tyre damage, drivers will be alerted by a warning light, allowing them to drive safely to a service station rather than stopping on the side of a road.

BPW IDEM TELEMATICS:

BPW’s telematics experts will also be on hand to discuss all things telematics, including the Electronic Brake Performance Monitoring System (EBPMS). With the ability to monitor in-service braking performance and generate real-time data reports, EBPMS can be presented during safety inspections and could be used instead of a roller brake test. To enhance fleet management, fleet operators can identify potential braking issues well before scheduled maintenance checks, preventing problems from escalating and causing prolonged downtime. This allows fleet managers to make more informed decisions regarding their trailers, leading to increased efficiency, improved safety, and reduced operating costs.
